The collection
Sans Fin for PortaTron brings the 4-track tape loop sessions from the Sans Fin library into Robotic Bean's virtual cassette format — 12 cassettes, each containing 4 tracks of long-form evolving material drawn from the original analog tape recordings. The content covers the full tonal range of the Sans Fin library: evolving atmospheres that build and shift over extended durations, epic melodic leads with tape-saturated character, and both melodic and static drone material for underscoring and ambient production. All loops are tempo-free — not cut to a BPM grid — which makes them equally usable in scored productions and free-time compositions. The tape source means the material carries organic noise, drift, and the occasional transient anomaly that defines the character of physical tape loops. These are not defects — they are properties of the medium that give the content its depth and warmth under Portatron's 4-track layering. 12 cassettes. 48 loops. 660 MB. Tempo-free. Formatted for Robotic Bean's Portatron.

No — all loops are tempo-free and not cut to a BPM grid. They work equally well in tempo-locked productions and free-time scoring contexts.
Yes. The source material was recorded to and played back from physical tape. Noise, drift, and transient anomalies are properties of the medium and are present intentionally. They contribute to the organic character of the material.
