The collection
Strung: Granular Vol. 1 is a preset collection built from a specific source material decision — electric guitar recordings, not synthesizers, run through Audio Damage's Quanta granular engine. The result is 50 presets with a harmonic complexity and organic texture that pure synthesis doesn't produce: bowed string resonance, pick attack, and the natural overtone structure of guitar, all transformed through granular processing into something that no longer sounds like a guitar but carries its tonal DNA. The 50 presets are organized by type: Drones, Voices, Pads, and Motion. MPE mappings are pre-configured across all patches. Note that some presets — particularly the more textural and soundscape-oriented patches — are not designed to track chromatically across a standard keyboard. These presets are built to function as atmospheric layers over melodic content rather than as melodic instruments themselves. Compatible with both iOS and desktop versions of Audio Damage Quanta. 50 presets. 290+ MB. iOS and desktop compatible. MPE pre-mapped. Standard MIDI compatible.

FAQs
Electric guitar recordings — not synthesizers. The guitar source gives the granular presets a harmonic complexity and organic texture that synthesizer-sourced granular content doesn't produce.
Not all of them. Some presets — particularly the more textural and soundscape-oriented patches — are designed to function as atmospheric layers rather than melodic instruments and don't track chromatically. This is intentional, not a defect.
Yes — all 50 presets are fully functional with standard MIDI. MPE mappings are pre-configured but don't affect playback on conventional MIDI hardware.
Compatible with both iOS and desktop versions of Audio Damage Quanta.
