Made for
For Ableton producers who know the difference between a pitch-shifted sample and an instrument — every note recorded independently from the hardware source, so your music carries the real DNA of vintage synthesis.

The collection
Analog Essentials for Ableton Live is a chromatically sampled instrument library built from vintage synthesizers, Eurorack modular setups, and modern analog polysynths — 60 instrument racks delivered in both MPE and non-MPE versions, covering Bass, Drones, Leads, and Pads. The defining technical choice is one sample per note — rather than stretching a small number of samples across the keyboard, every note in the chromatic range was recorded independently. This preserves the pitch-dependent character of analog hardware: the way a Moog's filter behaves differently at different octaves, the harmonic variation of a modular patch across its pitch range, the natural tonal differences between notes that analog instruments produce and that pitch-shifting samples doesn't capture. Each instrument rack includes custom effects processing using Ableton's built-in effects, EQ, and Macro assignments for real-time control. Both MPE-mapped and standard versions are included — the MPE version adds expressive per-note control for producers using MPE-capable controllers. MPE capabilities require Ableton Live 11 and above. Four instrument rack selectors (Bass, Drones, Leads, and Pads) are included alongside the individual racks for fast category navigation during a session. 60 instrument racks. 9.25 GB. One sample per note. MPE pre-mapped (Ableton Live 11 and above).

Every note in the chromatic range was recorded independently from the hardware source. This preserves the natural pitch-dependent character of analog instruments — the tonal variation between notes that pitch-shifting a smaller sample set doesn't capture.
The non-MPE version is compatible with Ableton Live 10 and above. MPE capabilities require Ableton Live 11 and above. Suite version recommended for access to the full effects library used in the racks.
Vintage synthesizers, Eurorack modular setups, and modern analog polysynths. The broad source palette gives the library its tonal range across Bass, Drones, Leads, and Pads.
No — both MPE and non-MPE versions are included. The non-MPE version works with standard MIDI. The MPE version adds expressive per-note control for producers using MPE-capable controllers.
