Dark Matter Tales From the Synth Side is a PortaTron cassette pack built from 6 individual sound packs, each containing 30+ handcrafted loops drawn from analog and modular synthesizers. The material is designed for cinematic tension — brooding atmospheres, evolving drones, and dark harmonic movement built to work in film scoring, psychological thriller production, and any context where the sound needs weight and unease. Each pack is subdivided into 5 categories — Bass, Leads, Arps, Pads, and SFX — and all sounds within a pack are designed to co-exist harmonically and tonally. The co-existence design means you can layer across all 5 categories from a single pack without mix conflicts. Two packs are paired per volume for extended tonal range. The complete bundle includes all 6 packs arranged onto 40 cassettes with 150 loops total, plus 50 bonus loops in WAV format. The analog and modular source chain — no digital instruments in the signal path — gives the material a density and textural complexity that sample-library alternatives don't match.
